ROCHESTER MUSEUM AND SCIENCE CENTER
GATEWAY BUILDING CONCEPT

The RMSC commissioned local architectural firms to submit their proposals for a new building
to join the Strasenburgh Planetarium and the Bausch Building. The Gateway would unite these two buildings providing a single entry point. DeWolff’s design incorporated state of the art electronic display systems, a central museum store and flexible traffic patterns for different Museum events. A special feature was the LED display globe cupola.
